FOCUS GROUP was responsible of designing the services and plumbing systems for the new Governador Plácido Castelo Stadium, also known as the Castelão Stadium, in Fortaleza, capital of the state of Ceará, in Brazil.

This facility, which resulted from the complete remodelling of an existing stadium dating from 1973, was built in time to host several games of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, held in Brazil.

​

The new athletic facility is now 27 metres high, with four grandstands which can seat more than 65,000 people, underground parking and an administrative building.
