FOCUS GROUP was responsible for designing the HVAC, electricity, communications, security and gas systems for the new Algarve Stadium, an inter-municipal project for the cities of Faro and Loulé, built at the time of UEFA Euro 2004, with capacity for over 30,000 spectators.

The stadium was built at the heart of a larger series of public spaces called Parque das Cidades, which has an athletic track, training grounds, conference centre and the Central Algarve Hospital on an area of 225 hectares, 160 of which are green spaces and corridors.
